| Duration: |
- Two to four days at an NPS centre
|
|
| Target group: |
- Personnel who require IWCF certification for drilling
personnel.
|
|
| Advance knowledge
required: |
- IWCF certificate level 1: diploma in well techniques
or equivalent.
- IWCF certificate level 2: technical college diploma in
drilling and well technology or equivalent.

| Main
objectives: |
- To offer course participants a thorough revision of topics
in well control and well control equipment .
- To prepare course participants for the IWCF test.
|
|
| Contents: |
- Principles and procedures.
- Well completion equipment.
- Well control equipment: wire-line, snubbing and coiled
tubing.
|
|
| IWCF test: |
- Tests on Principles and procedures and on Completion
equipment are compulsory. At least one equipment test must
be taken. The combined test consists of all the tests.
